Royal Educare first Networking Event is a HIT!
Date Added: February 04, 2026
In January 2026, we were proud to host our very first Royal Educare networking event — and what a way to kick off the year.
The event brought together professionals from across the social care sector, creating a relaxed and open space to share ideas, experiences, and best practice. From meaningful conversations to practical insights (and a decent sausage bap), the day delivered exactly what we hoped it would.
Insightful Guest Speakers
We were fortunate to welcome a brilliant line-up of guest speakers who each brought a unique and valuable perspective:
Warren Davies, Responsible Individual at Merthyr Council Children’s Services, spoke powerfully about making a house a home. His discussion focused on creating safe, nurturing environments for children and young people — reminding us that quality care goes far beyond bricks and mortar.
Donna Chiffi, Publisher and Manager, delivered an engaging talk on people-first care. Donna highlighted the importance of putting individuals at the heart of everything we do, reinforcing values that strongly align with our own approach at Royal Educare.
Craig Rees, Trainer, provided clarity around mandatory versus statutory training. His session was both informative and practical, helping attendees better understand requirements, responsibilities, and how to maintain high standards through effective training.
Our very own Paul Beasley, Director of Operations, rounded off the talks with an honest and thought-provoking discussion on recruitment and retention. Paul explored the challenges facing the sector, shared practical solutions, and emphasised the importance of partnerships, culture, and long-term thinking when building strong teams.
Networking, Food & Great Feedback
Alongside the talks, there was plenty of opportunity to network, connect, and share experiences with others who truly understand the realities of social care. Conversations flowed, connections were made — and yes, sausage baps were very much enjoyed.
The feedback from attendees has been superb, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us, spoke, shared, and contributed to making the event such a success.
What’s Next?
This is just the beginning. With such a positive response, we’re already planning our next networking event, and we can’t wait to build on the momentum created.
Thank you again to our guest speakers and everyone who attended — we’re excited for what’s to come in 2026 and beyond.
