Job Description
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring outstanding clinical care is provided at all times through your strong clinical knowledge and established people management and leadership skills, you will ensure the highest standards are achieved in relationship to all care.
You will work with the care teams to ensure continuous assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation of residents' care. Your skills will be key to supporting residents with all their needs, therapeutic interventions and meaningful occupations.
Responsibilities
- Delegate appropriately but ensure new service users are orientated into their surroundings and introduced to other service users and staff, and the appropriate documentation is completed on time.

Assess the service users physical, psychological and social needs

Plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in accordance with the service users needs

Continuously evaluate care needs with other members of the nursing team and ensure that care plans and records are up-to-date and accurate.

Help service users to understand the ageing process and how it affects their health and lifestyle.

Lead a multi-disciplinary shift team, supervising staff in all respects including orientation of new staff, appraisal, training and development of care staff, organising and co-ordinating their duties, guiding, supporting, monitoring and evaluating staff performance.

Ensure that documentation relating to the delivery of care is completed accurately,

Comply with the NMC Code of Conduct at all times

Manage stocks of all supplies effectively and economically

Work co-operatively

Contribute to the development of new ideas in nursing
Requirements
- An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and registration with the NMC is required for this position.
