We are currently looking for flexible and committed Support Workers to provide a quality service working on a full time basis with our client in the Swansea and Neath, Port Talbot area. We are looking for Support Workers who enjoy caring for adults with a learning or physical disability whilst maintaining their dignity, safety and independence.
Support Workers will be required to promote the independence of the people enabling them to develop new skills and friendships and encourage them to enjoy a full life within the community.
There are a variety of shifts available with a thorough training programme and opportunity to gain QCF in health and social care.
Holiday entitlement will be based on 29 days (pro rata) per annum rising to 33 days (pro rata) per annum after 5 completed year’s continuous service.
- Cooking/preparing meals.
Accompanying the people supported at social, leisure, recreational activities, hobbies.
Providing personal care.
Every person supported is an individual and they will look to you to work in a safe and professional way.
- A full UK Driving Licence is required for this role.
Experience preferred but not required.
